Planning permission has been granted for a special education unit in Listowel.
The board of management at St Michael's College, Listowel applied to Kerry County Council to demolish an existing single storey extension at Cahirdown.
This will be replaced with a new extension that will include a special educational needs classroom, multisensory room and external play area.
