Planned ESB outage for mid-Kerry cancelled due to weather

A planned electricity outage in Kells Bay will not go ahead as a result of weather.

ESB Networks had planned a switch out in the area to allow essential maintenance works be carried out.

The day-long outage would have affected 150 homes and businesses in Kells.

ESB Networks say because of thunder and lightning, the planned outage will not occur today.
