Picketing ends at former Debenhams store in Tralee after 380 days

The former shop steward at the Debenhams store in Tralee says last night was an emotional one for staff as gardaí moved them from the picket lines.

Gardaí attended the former Debenhams store in Manor West, Tralee last night, to execute a High Court Order.

Lorries arrived to remove stock from the store, but were blocked by former staff, who sat on the ground, before they were moved by gardaí.

The picketing has ended at the Manor West store after 380 days, although the workers remain on an official strike.
