Person airlifted to hospital following traffic collision in North Kerry

A person was airlifted to Cork University Hospital last evening following a traffic collision in North Kerry.

The single vehicle incident happened at around 6 o'clock yesterday evening on the L1029 Lixnaw to Ballinclogher Cross.

Garda investigators remain at the scene and the road will be closed for several more hours.
