Gardai in Tralee have advised people to avoid the canal road to Blennerville if possible.
The road is being cleared following a minor accident earlier today.
The accident is believed to have involved a car and a lorry.

Traffic from Dingle is being diverted through Lohercannon and traffic to the Dingle road is being diverted to Strand road.
The road is expected to be cleared in the nest hour but motorists should take alternative routes if possible for the next hour.
