Over €145,438,306.18 in funding was issued in farming grants and schemes in Kerry during 2025.
Farmers in the county benefited from several schemes last year, ranging from €27,504.75 under the Baling Assistance Payment (BAP), to more that €42 million in BISS (Basic Income Support for Sustainability Scheme).
Fine Gael Senator Mike Kennelly welcomed the funding stating the supports are vital in assisting to strengthening the sector in the county.
He says the grants underline the commitment to backing Kerry farmers with practical schemes delivering real value for families.
