Over €1.19 million was raised for over 40 charities from this year’s Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle.
The cycle took place on the 5th of July and almost 4,000 cyclists took part.
This year’s event saw €50,000 more raised compared to last year, which was shared across 44 Tier 1 and Tier 2 charities.
There were nine Tier 1 charities this year and they were Focus Ireland, the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation, Kerry Parents and Friends Association, Recovery Haven Kerry, Kerry Hospice Foundation, Brú Columbanus, Breakthrough Cancer Research, Social Action Group Rathmore and the Irish Kidney Association.
