Over 7,500 customers without power in South Kerry

A power outage has left 7,667 customers without power in South Kerry.

The fault at Gurranbane was reported shortly before 2pm this afternoon.

Power is due to be restored at 5pm this evening.

Gurranbane, near Caherciveen, is known for its involvement in ESB Networks' power infrastructure, including a 38 kV substation and overhead lines.
