Over 200 international buyers from 17 countries will attend a tourism trade event in Killarney.
Meitheal is Fáilte Ireland’s largest international travel trade fair, organised in partnership with Tourism Ireland.
It’s taking place in Killarney over the next two days.
Meitheal provides Irish tourism businesses with the opportunity to sell directly to top international buyers and tour operators.
With over 200 International Travel Trade buyers from 17 countries in attendance this year, the event sees deals worth hundreds of millions of euros agreed at it annually.
Hundreds of Irish businesses will meet with these buyers to promote Ireland in a bid to secure greater tourism business for Ireland.
Last year internation buyers attended from 15 countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Great Britain, and the USA.
The event is taking place in the Gleneagle Arena today and tomorrow (March 24th and 25th).
