Over 1,800 premises in the Waterville area can now connect to high-speed fibre broadband under the National Broadband Plan (NBP).
This also includes the areas surrounding Ballinskelligs, Emlagh and Canuig.
In total, €107 million will be spent giving 28,000 premises in Kerry the option of fibre broadband.
To date, 6,052 connections already been completed, with the Castleisland area due to be connected by next autumn.
The plan promises minimum speeds of 500 megabytes per second (Mbps) to homes, businesses, farms, and schools.
