The National Broadband Ireland network has expanded its Abbeyfeale deployment area.
This means almost 800 premises, including in the Brosna and Knocknagashel areas, can get a 500 megabits per second fibre connection.
Broadband network build works are expected to be completed by the end of the year for almost 800 premises in the Valentia Island deployment area and over 1,800 in the Waterville deployment area.
Over 20,000 (20,135) of the 28,000 premises in Kerry, scheduled to get access to the network under the National Broadband Plan (NBP), can sign-up as of today .
