There are over 130 publicly accessible charging points for electric vehicles in Kerry.
The figures were provided by Minister for Transport Darragh O’Brien following a query from Fine Gael TD Joe Neville.
Minister O’Brien says data from the national reporting platform by registered Charge Point Operators shows there are over 3,300 publicly assessable EV charge points nationally.
He says the Government is fully committed to supporting a significant expansion and modernisation of the EV charging network over the coming years and reaching climate targets.
According to these figures, Dublin has the highest number of publicly accessible EV charge points at 754, while Leitrim has the fewest at 11.
