Over 123,000 passengers expected to pass through Shannon Airport over Easter weekend

Over 123,000 passengers are expected to pass through Shannon Airport over the Easter weekend.

Management says it's the busiest holiday weekend so far this year, and Easter usually kick starts the summer.

Some of the most popular destinations include Alicante, New York, Naples, Warsaw and Liverpool.

Shannon Airport says its average security queue is about 12 minutes.
