Over 100 fireworks offences have been recorded in Kerry over the past 20 years.
That’s according to figures from the Central Statistics Office, analysed by EnergyEfficiency.ie.
The data shows between January 2004 and the end of June this year, over 4,000 crimes related to fireworks have been recorded nationally.
Of these, 115 offences were in Kerry, one of the lowest levels recorded in the country.
According to the CSO, most fireworks offences in the county occur between October and December, with a spike in incidents coinciding with Halloween.
