Gardaí in Kerry are asking parents to speak to their children about the dangers of fireworks to ensure safety for everyone.

They say they’ve received numerous reports of fireworks being set off in estates and towns across Kerry, despite Halloween being over three weeks away.

Gardaí say they need the assistance of parents to protect the peace within communities and to prevent any harm coming to people.
