A Tralee Municipal District councillor wants Kerry County Council to run an awareness campaign promoting consideration for others this Halloween.
Fine Gael councillor Angie Baily stressed the positives of Halloween festivities, but asked for the council to publish specific social media posts.
She said not everyone enjoys Halloween, and may not want visitors calling to their doors.

Cllr Baily also said that people need to be mindful of how Halloween can cause problems for dogs and other pets.
