Just one Probationer Garda from the delegation at the passing out ceremony at Templemore today has been assigned to Kerry.
In total 194 Gardaí have been added to the force, comprising of 137 men and 57 women.
87 of the new Gardaí will be deployed across the Dublin Metropolitan Region, with 47 going to the Southern Region, which includes Kerry.

36 have been assigned to Cork City, three to Cork County, five to Limerick city and one each to counties Tipperary, Clare and Kerry.
The Probationer Garda assigned to Kerry will be stationed at Tralee Garda Station.
As well as the 194 gardaí added to the first, 17 Garda Reserves will be assigned to Garda Stations across the country.
