Five newly graduated gardaí are to be assigned to the Kerry Garda Division.
154 new Gardaí from 14 nations became sworn members of the force today.
The southern region will get the highest proportion of new Gardaí with 66 allocated.
Three of the newly sworn officers are to be stationed in Tralee and two are to be deployed in Killarney.
They began training in December 2024 and will start operational duties in the coming weeks.
A further 369 recruits are currently in training and the next 200 trainees will enter the Garda College in Templemore on Monday.
The allocation of new Gardaí to Kerry has been welcomed by Equality Minister and Fianna Fáil TD, Norma Foley, Minister of State Michael Healy-Rae, Independent deputy Danny Healy-Rae and Fianna Fáil TD, Michael Cahill.
