A man was arrested and two cars were seized in Killarney town on Saturday night following a large gathering of people at an informal event involving modified cars.
Gardaí received reports of an informal gathering of people which originated on a social media forum, and deployed extra patrols to the area.
Two cars were seized for non compliance with road traffic legislation and one driver was also arrested for driving while disqualified and will appear in court in the coming weeks.
