The Heritage Council has opened nominations for the 2025 National Heritage Week Awards.
Communities and individuals across Kerry are invited to celebrate the best local heritage projects and events.
This year, almost 80 events took place in Kerry as part of Ireland’s biggest Heritage Week yet.
The Heritage Council presents a County Award in each Local Authority area, recognising the best event or project in the county.
The award is based on how well it raised awareness, how it was promoted, and the extent to which it engaged with and involved the community.
Nominations are open until September 11th and can be made via heritageweek.ie.
