There are no patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.
The figures show there were not any patients waiting on trolleys in the wards or the Emergency Department of UHK this morning.
According to the INMO, it’s the fifth time this year that zero patients were waiting for beds in the Tralee hospital; the last occurrence was on May 16th.
However, this data does not include weekends or bank holidays.
Nationally 364 people are waiting on trolleys, University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 83 patients awaiting a bed.
