New candidate declares for Killarney Local Electoral Area elections

A new candidate has declared for June's local elections in the Killarney Local Electoral Area.

Killarney native, William Leen has announced his intention to run as an independent candidate.

Mr Leen lists affordable housing, supporting local tourism and prioritisng small businesses among his campaign issues.

There are now 12 candidates running in the seven-seat electoral area.
