People are being urged to use brown bins this National Food Waste Recycling week.
MyWaste.ie is campaigning for consumers and businesses to use a brown bin, recycle their food waste and reduce their carbon footprint.
The campaign is in its third year and will run until Saturday, the 9th of June.

New legislation introduced in January means everyone in the country is entitled by law to a brown bin service.
