The MTU says a keystone project for its Kerry campus should begin construction next year.
The learner centre will provide student service and supports within one dedicated building.
It will serve two to three thousand students at the North Campus, Tralee.

Tim Daly is vice-president for external engagement and international at Munster Technological University.
He says the building for MTU Kerry's Campus is currently in design phase.
