Motorists asked to drive with extra care following severe oil spill between Abbeyfeale and Newcastewest

Motorists are being asked to drive with extra care following a severe oil spill on the road between Abbeyfeale and Newcastewest and into Newcastewest town.

Newcastlewest Garda Station say iIt's particularly bad at the stretch of road at Barna.

The fire service has been deployed to deal with it, but Gardai are advising people to be extra cautious on the road.
