Motorists are being advised to drive carefully and to allow extra time for their journey this morning as an orange level warning remains in place.
The rainfall warning is in place for Kerry until 8pm and Met Éireann is warning that flooding and dangerous travelling conditions are expected.
Surface water has been reported on a number of roads this morning.

Storm Amy makes landfall tomorrow, with a status yellow wind warning in place for the whole country.
