Applications are now being accepted for the LGBTIQ+ Community Services fund.
Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD, Norma Foley announced the €1.4 million funding pot to support LGBTIQ+ people.
The 2025 funding call is inviting proposals from groups operating at national, regional and local level.
The funding is aimed at promoting inclusion, protecting rights and improving the quality of life and wellbeing of LGBTIQ+ people in Ireland.
Applications will be accepted until midday on Wednesday, 30th July 2025.
The grant scheme is open to applications from existing LGBTIQ+ non-government organisations and community organisations working with LGBTIQ+ people.
The funding call is part of the National LGBTIQ+ Inclusion Strategy II 2024-2028, which was published in June, in response to continued challenges facing the community.
There are two streams of funding under the fund.
Scheme A is for applications from existing NGOs and community organisations working with the LGBTIQ+ community to support new initiatives and to maintain and enhance existing services and initiatives.
While, Scheme B will provide small grants to organisations for projects that promote visibility and inclusion of LGBTIQ+ persons.
All applications must be submitted electronically.
2025 is the fifth year of the LGBTIQ+ Community Services Funding Call.
