The Minister for Further and Higher Education is in Kerry today to open the new STEM building at the Munster Technological University.
The almost 9,000 metre-squared building will provide new lecture theatres, classrooms, machinery workshops, halls, and laboratory space.

Meanwhile, Minister James Lawless also responded to delays relating to the development of the Pretty Polly site in Killarney.
Last month, it was announced €2.3 million in funding was allocated for the purchase of the former Pretty Polly site to transform it into a Tourism Sector Training College.
He says it is an ambitious plan that he fully supports.
