Minister expects funding for Killarney Bypass despite no mention in the National Development Plan

Despite the Killarney Bypass not being mentioned in the National Development Plan, it’s expected there will be funding allocated for it over the next four years.

That’s according to Minister for Children, Disability and Equality and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley.

Yesterday, the Government allocated almost €275 billion in capital spending over the next decade in a revised National Development Plan.

Minister Norma Foley says the N22 Farranfore to Killarney project is a priority for her and for Government.

She says no specific projects were mentioned in the plan, but funding will be allocated for individual projects in the coming weeks:
