A memorial for James Last will be unveiled this morning by the Mayor of Tralee and his fellow councillors in the Tralee Municipal District to mark the links between the town and the renowned German composer.
James Last and his orchestra played two concerts at Austin Stack Park in 1983 and 1984 during the Rose of Tralee International Festival.
The location of the memorial will be in front of the Kerry GAA offices at Austin Stack Park on John Joe Sheehy Road.
