The Mayor of Tralee says he isn’t too happy with his party’s decision to back Catherine Connolly in the Presidential election.
The Labour Party has backed the independent TD - but the mayor, Labour councillor Terry O’Brien, says he would have preferred if his party had backed another candidate.
Deputy Connolly is a former member of Labour who left the party in 2006 in a row over candidate selection.
