Gardaí have arrested a man in connection with the seizure of around €100,000 of cocaine in Killarney.
Members attached to the Kerry Divisional Drugs Unit conducted a search of a residence in Killarney town yesterday, Friday, May 2nd, as part of intelligence-led work under Operation Tara to disrupt the sale and supply of drugs.
During the search, suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €100,000 was recovered.
The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for further analysis.
One man in his 30s has been arrested.
He's currently detained under section two of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a garda station in Kerry.
Investigations are ongoing.
