One lucky person in Kerry will be getting their bank holiday weekend off to the best possible start, with the news that a sizeable cash prize has been won by a prize bond holder in the county.
The weekly prize of €50,000 went to Prize Bond number AK D9 34366.
A spokesperson for the Prize Bond company - which is a joint venture between An Post and FEXCO - says the lucky bond is held by someone in Kerry.

They've also revealed that it was purchased in 2018.
There were over 8,834 prizes awarded in this week’s Prize Bond Draw, amounting to more than €739,475.
