The repeal of legislation that banned a book about a Kerry man and his Cork wife would allow the couple to rest in peace.
That's according to Neil Lucey from Gougane Barra who's been speaking about the book, The Tailor and Ansty.
The book by Eric Cross celebrated the wit of a couple living in Gougane Barra - Tadhg Buckley, originally from Kilgarvan, and his wife Anastasia.
The Tailor and Ansty was banned in the 1940s under the Censorship of Publications Act for the earthy language.
The ban was later removed but the legislation that enabled this is still in place.
Culture Minister Patrick O'Donovan says steps are being taken to repeal the Censorship Acts.
Neil Lucey from the Gougane Barra Hotel welcomes this.
