A learner driver has been caught driving under the influence of drugs in a vehicle that had no insurance, tax or NTC in North Kerry.
Gardaí in Listowel stopped the vehicle during a checkpoint in the area yesterday.
The driver, who was an unaccompanied learner, was found to be positive for cannabis, cocaine and opiates.

Gardaí seized the vehicle and the driver is due to appear in court.
