Landings at Skellig Michael are due to resume today, subject to weather conditions.
The Office of Public Works announced that landings would begin last Saturday, following Thursday's High Court ruling that boat trips to land at Sceilg Mhichíl could resume.
However, this was since delayed and the UNESCO World Heritage Site is now due to reopen for landings today.
Landing permits were automatically suspended when unsuccessful bidders brought a High Court challenge to the decision; the OPW applied to the court asking for that stay to be lifted.
The OPW says its guiding team arrived on Scelig Mhichíl on Sunday, and there will be three guides stationed on the island at all times.
Any visitors to the island are advised to check directly with their boat operator to confirm sailings.
