The Killarney Historic Rally will honour Michael Gaine during its event this weekend.
Mr Gaine was reported missing from his home in Kenmare in March and his case was later upgraded to a homicide.
His remains were found on his farm in May and investigations into the case are ongoing.
Michael Gaine was a rally enthusiast and a supporter of the sport.
On Saturday, the Killarney Historic Rally will unveil a new media zone as part of the event's tribute to the late Mike Gaine.
Sean Moriarty, of Killarney and District Motor Club and PRO of Kerry Motor Club, says Mike Gaine was an unsung hero who did all the behind the scenes work that made such events possible.
