Killarney Athletic Football Club has received planning permission to construct a new soccer pitch.
It will be located on Killarney AFC’s grounds on Woodlawn Road.
The pitch will be equipped with a 10 metre high ball-stop net behind its goalposts and a surrounding fence.

The playing field will be built alongside the club’s two existing pitches, with connecting walkways.
Kerry County Council has granted the planning permission subject to 6 conditions,
Among the conditions is that construction will be limited to 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays, with no works on Sundays or bank holidays.
