A Kilcummin accordion player has been named one of two winners of the Young Musician Award 2025.
Eoin Foley is the current All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil 12 - 15 Button Accordion Champion, having won the title twice.
He, along with Emma Kelly from Newmarket in Duhallow, Co. Cork, will be presented with the Young Musician Award at the Patrick O’Keeffe Traditional Music Festival.

The award celebrates the next generation of traditional Irish musicians.
The festival will run from 23rd to 26th October in Castleisland.
Eoin Foley will be among the featured performers at the festival’s Sliabh Luachra concert.
