Three of Kerry’s Irish Red Cross members as well as its Tralee branch, have received nominations in the 2025 Volunteer of the Year Awards.
Elena Barry joined the Irish Red Cross in Tralee last year and has been nominated for Newcomer of the Year.
Paul Montgomery has been shortlisted for Instructor of the Year.

Emily O’Rielly has been nominated for the Young Volunter of the Year award.
Tralee Irish Red Cross has also been nominated for Branch of the Year.
The Tralee Branch is one of Ireland’s longest established Irish Red Cross branches and has been serving Kerry for 80 years.

The nominees will attend an award ceremony in Croke Park on the 29th of November.
