Kerry voluntary and charity groups are encouraged to apply for a multi-million euro community fund.

The €10 million COVID-19 Stability Fund aims to support groups, charities and social enterprises which have suffered as a result of the pandemic.

Priority will be given to organisations which have not previously received state support during the pandemic.

The Minister for Education and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley says, as restrictions lift and society reopens, it's right to look after groups and organisations which have cared for and supported the most vulnerable.

Groups can apply for the COVID-19 Stability Fund from May 20th.
