A leader within Kerry’s Ukrainian community says democracy in Europe – not just in her country – is at stake.

Today marks the fourth anniversary of Russia’s mass invasion of Ukraine.

A rally of solidarity will take place in The Square, Tralee from 12.30 to 1.30pm.

NEWKD has organised a market to raise funds for a Ukrainian children’s charity; this’ll take place at Áras an Phobail, Tralee from 4pm.

Programme manager Robert Carey says the people of Ukraine have had to contend with disinformation about their country’s invasion.

He says the rally in The Square allows Ukrainian voices to be heard.
