A Kerry TD is calling for medical cards to be awarded to survivors of mother and baby homes.
Speaking in the Dáil, Independent TD for Kerry Deputy Danny Healy Rae made an appeal to Children's Minister Roderic O'Gorman to provide medical cards to all survivors.
He says this would ensure they'd get proper medical treatment for the remainder of their lives.
