A Kerry Sinn Féin TD is calling for an emergency budget to support households with the cost-of-living crisis.
Deputy Pa Daly feels the Government’s response to the fuel crisis has fallen far short and is leaving households exposed.
The Sinn Féin spokesperson on energy says an emergency budget would provide meaningful relief for struggling households.
Deputy Daly wants energy credits for households, a €500 payment for people with disabilities, a suite of measures to protect the most vulnerable and a permanent USC cut that puts €500 back into workers’ pockets.
He says this must happen now as people can’t wait until next year.
