Motorists in Kerry are being warned about the dangers of driving the morning after drinking.
It comes as 12 people were arrested on Kerry roads over the Easter Bank holiday weekend for driving under the influence.
That’s according to figures provided to Radio Kerry by the Kerry Roads Policing Unit.
Meanwhile, there was also a strong Garda presence on roads in the county as part of Rás Mumhan.
Gardaí carried out an Easter bank holiday weekend roads campaign which ran from Thursday at 7am until Tuesday morning.
This included mandatory intoxicant testing and high-visibility checkpoints across Kerry.
Twelve motorists in the county were arrested during the period for driving under the influence of drink or drugs, as part of these checks.
Two arrests took place on the county's roads on Easter Monday between 7am and 5pm.
On Good Friday, one driver was caught travelling 141 kph in a 100 zone on the N22 at Killaha, Glenflesk.
Meanwhile, 14 cars were seized in the county during the Easter roads policing campaign.
The vehicles were seized for a number of reasons including no insurance, for dangerous driving, and because the motorist was disqualified from driving.
