An Ireland South MEP says we should engage in dialogue with the US before retaliating with counter tariffs.
Seán Kelly made the statement following President Donald Trumps announcement of 20% tariffs on EU imports.
He says the announcement is a wake-up call for the EU to strengthen its economic resilience.
