A Kerry MEP has confirmed he may run for presidency.
Ireland South MEP Sean Kelly says he is considering running for office in November, when Michael D. Higgins term concludes.
Mr Kelly is a Member of European Parliament since July 2009, a member of Fine Gael and former president of the GAA.

Speaking with Radio Kerry, the Kilculmin native confirmed he is considering running for the role.
