Kerry MEP Seán Kelly says Trump’s comments on Greenland will accelerate the rearmament of Europe.
He says in isolation, there wouldn’t have been many tears shed by EU representatives over the removal of Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro, even though the US violated international law in doing so.
Sean Kelly said that Trump’s comments about annexing Greenland after the operation in Venezuela changed the whole atmosphere in Europe, especially as the US and Denmark are both NATO countries.
