A Kerry businessman has been elected to the Irish SME Association’s (ISME) National Council.
Stuart McNamara, Chair of the Irish Craft Artisan Distilleries Association (ICADA), and Director of Portmagee Whiskey and Wexbury Spirits based in Portmagee, is among the 27 members elected to the council.
Margaret O’Rourke Doherty has been elected as the new Chair of the National Council for the 2021-2023 term.

The new council elected is the first with a female majority, comprised of 56% female and 44% male members, since ISME’s foundation in 1993.
