Kerry County Council, Healthy Kerry, Kerry Library and the Family Resource Centres have collaborated on a series of events to promote play and recreation opportunities for children and young people across the county.
The events and workshops are being run as part of National Play Day, which takes place from today until Saturday July 12th.
Libraries in Listowel, Tralee, Killarney, Castleisland, Daingeann Uí Chuis, Caherciveen and Killorglin are hosting play, sensory and crafting events over the next week, all of which are free to attend.
National Play day is a collaboration between the Department of Children, Disability and Equality and Local Authorities to work with partners to deliver a programme of themed activity.
